Poultry:
Chickens are not the only poultry kept as pets. Ducks, geese and turkeys are also popular. Pheasants, quail, pigeons, doves and peacocks are also kept as poultry. The main pet needs for poultry are similar to those of other pets but they also require a large outdoor area with plenty of shade, a safe enclosure or coop and lots of space to move around. If you have an indoor coop, then you will need to make sure that it is very spacious with adequate ventilation and that there is a nice perch at the top for your bird to roost on during the night.
